Interherence is an innovative high-tech startup based in Erlangen, Germany. Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the Max-Planck Institute for the Science of Light, we are revolutionizing optical microscopy by enabling single-molecule characterization of bio-nanoparticles (BNPs). Through advanced optical methods, integrated optics, and cutting-edge data analysis techniques, we develop analytical tools that drive breakthroughs in therapeutics, formulation optimization, and the nanoscale detection of biomolecules, viruses, and extracellular vesicles (EVs).
We are seeking a highly motivated Nanofabrication Engineer to join our dynamic QuNano Team. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of nanofabrication processes for our next-generation sensor chips. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, testing, and refining nanostructured surfaces and microfluidic devices that elevate our system performance.
Working closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams—from electronics and software to mechanics—you will push the boundaries of nanofabrication and ensure seamless integration of your innovations into our analytical devices. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our technological advancements, product success, and the scientific breakthroughs our systems enable.
