Full environmental Control for Every Imaging Platform
AiroBox® Iced

Precise atmospheric control and readout
AiroBox is equipped with state-of-the-art sensors directly in the stage top incubator allowing to track and precisely control temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and oxygen concentrations.
Ideal for super-resolution studies
We have engineered AiroBox with the high requirements of super resolution-microscopy in mind. Our cooling circuit is designed to enable sample cooling up to 20°C below room temperature without inducing any vibrations. Also, at elevated temperatures AiroBox features rock-stable mechanics.
Versatility
AiroBox is compatible with most microscope stages due to its modular design and customization options. Easy exchangeable sample inserts for multi-well plates, petri dishes, and many more allow for multi-purpose use.
Ease of use
AiroBox is compact and simple to setup. It consists of the control unit, the stage top, and an objective collar covering all functionalities. In combination with the intuitive user interface, it can be setup within just a few minutes on a microscope and be operated swiftly by non-experts.

The Control Unit

It houses all electronics, manages precise gas mixing between externally supplied pressurized nitrogen (N₂) or compressed air, oxygen (O₂), and carbon dioxide (CO₂), and integrates a high-performance, ultra-low-vibration cooling circuit. This advanced cooling capability allows for reliable super-resolution imaging at, and even below, room temperature, independent of ambient lab conditions.
